Here is a diagram that outlines the entire enrollment process (AY 2026/2027).

1. Apply here by 20 March 2026 (UniGeApply online services), with payment of the application fee required before submission. **

2. Once you have been accepted, you’ll need to register on Universitaly by a date to be announced (TBA), indicating that you plan to enroll in the “Architectural Composition” Master’s Degree program. This step gives you access to the pre-enrollment procedure and the subsequent visa process. Visa applications must be submitted to the appropriate diplomatic or consular authorities. In general, VISA applications open in March/April each year; however, individual embassies may establish earlier deadlines.

3. Once your Universitaly application has been validated, you can proceed with the pre-enrollment step through UniGe’s online services. At the same time, Universitaly will send an acceptance notification to the Embassy you listed in your submission. Under current Italian regulations, this notification serves as the replacement for the acceptance letter required for visa applications.

4. Upload the final documentation on UniGe’s online services.

5. Complete your enrollment through UniGe’s online services. ***

6. After completing the enrollment process, pay the fee and get ready to begin your courses.

Check all deadlines here to ensure you meet them throughout the process.

** To apply, you will need the following documents, further described here:

– English proficiency proof (level B2 or higher). Here are the language certifications recognized by UniGe. In addition, if your bachelor’s degree was taught in English, you do not need to provide a language certificate: you may instead upload a document confirming that English was the medium of instruction (MOI) for your entire undergraduate program.

Copy of your passport.
– Degree diploma, or a university letter indicating your expected graduation date (accepted in English, French, or Spanish).
– Academic transcript of records (accepted in English, French, or Spanish).
– A short portfolio (free layout; maximum three A4 pages, covering up to three projects; 5 MB limit).
– A short curriculum vitae (maximum four A4 pages).
