Candidates need to have a strong background in architecture, that is a bachelor degree in Architecture or in a very close related field.

The school will host up to 50 students. Early enrollment might be an advantage.


Non EU Citizens residing abroad

1. Apply here before the 29th March 2024

2. Once you have been accepted, you should register to Universitaly before 21st June 2024, specifying that you are enrolling to “Architectural Composition".

3. Once your application at Universitaly has been validated, you receive credentials for UNIGE application (next step). At the same time, Universitaly sends a communication of acceptance to the Embassy you indicated in your submission, and due to the present Italian law this communication replaces the acceptance letter for Visa requests (for the A.Y. 2024/2025, VISA applications must be submitted to the competent diplomatic-consular missions by and no later than 29th November 29th 2024).
But individual embassies can set earlier deadlines

4. Apply here with the credentials previously obtained, specifying that you are enrolling to “Architectural Composition". (Follow those steps: “Submit a new application for A.Y. 2024/2025", on dialog box “Access" select “Restricted access courses", then “Architecture and Design" and “Master degree in Architectural Composition". Then complete the other forms: Profile, Address, … and close the application).

5. Pay the fee, complete the registration, and start the courses. Students accepted should enroll by the end of August (TBC). 

 

In order to apply you will need these documents, as better described in the application website:

English proficiency proof (level B2 equivalent or higher) must be submitted before registering at Universitaly (step 2). Here the language certifications recognized by our University. In addition, if your bachelor degree was held in English you don't need a language certificate.

Copy of your Passport.

– Degree diploma, or university’s letter of expected graduation date (accepted in English, French, Spanish).

– Academic transcript of records (accepted in English, French, Spanish).

– A short Portfolio.

– A short Curriculum vitae
(maximum three A4 page for a maximum of three project and 10MB).

EU Citizens + Non EU Citizens already resident in Italy

1. Register here from 9th April to 29th November 2024. 

2. Apply here with the credentials previously obtained, specifying that you are enrolling to “Architectural Composition". (Follow those steps: “Submit a new application for A.Y. 2024/2025", on dialog box “Access" select “Restricted access courses", then “Architecture and Design" and “Master degree in Architectural Composition". Then complete the other forms: Profile, Address, … and close the application).

3. In case your degree is an Italian one please skip this step. In case it is a EU country’s degree please send your academic transcript of records to sass@unige.it (and in copy to ac@unige.it).

4. You will receive the confirmation e-mail, and after it you will be welcome to Genova.

5. Pay the fee, complete the registration, and start the courses.

English proficiency proof (level B2 equivalent or higher) must be submitted before the online admission interview (step 4). Here the language certifications recognized by our University. In addition, the B2 tests taken at the language center of one’s university are also recognized.

– Academic transcript of records (accepted in English, French, Spanish).

– A short Portfolio (about ten A4 pages).
